hansen is proud to sponsor the Rising Star Scholarship 2010, presented by the Women's Planning Network (WPN):

The 2010 Rising Star Scholarship is an excellent opportunity to gain financial assistance for your graduate or postgraduate education. All it takes is a well researched essay on an issue affecting the planning and design of our environment, submitted on or before the 30th October 2009.

The scholarship is open to all male and female local and international students entering into their 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate studies, or undertaking postgraduate studies in a Victorian tertiary institution in any of the following areas of study and who are not the recipients of any other scholarship.

The scholarship provides financial assistance ($5,500) towards the fees of the successful student for the forthcoming year of his/her studies.

The 2009 Rising Star Scholarship was awarded to William Wong at the International Women's Day Breakfast, for his paper entitled “Designing Urban Space:‘Queer Theory’ and Identity Politics”.
