Come rain, hail or shine the 'hardcore' hansenites braved the wintery October weather for the annual Ride to Work Day. Avoiding the glitzy fluro lycra outfits (due only to the wet weather!!) Nathan, Emily, Justin, Gary, Ben and Lucinda rode to work. Their reward was the regulatory post ride coffees and a hearty breakfast at a local cafe
Ride to Work Day marks the middle of a week packed with events promoting cycling. While most of Australia is stuck in peak hour traffic the Ride to Work program is helping Australian workers embrace an affordable, healthy, hassle and carbon emission free mode of transport.
