25/10/11 - emily and andrea ride 'around the bay in a day'
Emily Hillebrand and Andrea Taylor recently took part in the annual 'Around the Bay in A Day' bicycle ride raising over $750 for the Smith Family charity.
Suiting up in their unforgiving lycra and joining 16,000 other keen cyclists, Emily and Andrea successfully completed the 135km route departing from Geelong.
The slight rain and winds didn't hinder their enjoyment of the Bellarine and Mornington Peninsula scenery along the way. Clearly their riding legs were in full effect on the day and smashing all expectations with a speedy ride time of 5 hours and 14 minutes.
