Amelia has planning experience in both Australia and South East Asia. She has a sound understanding of Victorian Planning Legislation and associated processes, and an excellent knowledge of and particular interest in rural, environmental, social and international planning issues.

In her roles in government and private consultancy, Amelia has been involved in a wide range of strategic, social, environmental and development projects. These projects have involved planning scheme amendments; formulation of zone controls, community consultation, policy formulation regarding flood-prone urban and rural areas; heritage (both indigenous and non-indigenous) areas; and urban, rural and alpine land use and development assessment.

Amelia has also been involved in detailed assessments of large multi-lot subdivision projects, commercial and industrial land use and development applications, and residential and rural development applications. From these projects, combined with involvement in urban design matters and provision of planning advice for a range of stakeholders and colleagues, Amelia has developed excellent research and analytical skills to enable resolution of complex strategic and statutory planning projects.
