Jane joined hansen while in her final year of a Master of Planning and Environment at RMIT. Having extensive experience running small businesses, her time and project management skills have been honed in a practical environment. Jane has also travelled extensively through Europe, South East Asia, Australia and the Middle East, allowing her insights into alternative modes of living.

Jane’s background and personal interests mean she has a strong awareness of a wide range of sustainability issues and a firm belief that planning has a critical role to play the future sustainability of our cities.

Jane embraces the complexities and wider impacts of planning but also possesses the ability to pinpoint the key issues in any project. She demonstrates clear enthusiasm for a wide range of planning projects, making a meaningful contribution to the preparation of VCAT expert evidence statements, advocacy and Council submissions, preparation and management of permit applications through the Council approvals process, as well as the preparation of submission to planning reviews and proposed amendments, and background research and analysis.
